  • Despite putting three players in double figures, Eldorado couldn't withstand a late run by Hamilton County Friday night, falling 75-65.
Tyler Deaton led the Eagles with 17 points as Eldorado falls to 11-14 overall and 4-3 in Black Diamond (East) Conference play.
Also finishing in double digits were Joel Boulds, who had 15 points and Dillion Street, who tacked on 10 points.
The win for Hamilton County was just their fifth of the season (5-15, 4-2) as they were led by Nathan Anselemt and Balee Gay, who each had 11 points.
Eldorado kept pace with Hamilton County in the early going as the Foxes built a 18-16 first quarter lead. Hamilton County would go on to take a 35-30 halftime advantage.
Eldorado seemed poised in the second half, trying to extract some revenge on the Foxes who came away with a win earlier in the season as the Eagles outscored Hamilton County 21-15 in the third quarter.
However, Eldorado could not sustain the offensive firepower as they were outscored by nine points in the final eight minutes.
Justin Wiseman tacked on seven points for Eldorado, while Dylan Lawrence and Brennan Unthank each chipped in with six.
Richard Graceffa had three points and Derek Mitchell finished with a free throw.
