Josh Bailey had a team-high 23 points, while Slayden Figg finished with 14 points as Carrier Mills routed Hardin County 62-25 in the Greater Egyptian Conference Tuesday night at Southeastern Illinois Community College.
Bailey knocked down three 3-pointers, including going 4-of-4 from the free throw line as Carrier Mills advanced to the championship bracket, where they will play Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Friday night at 7 p.m.
NCOE crushed Crab Orchard 69-21 in the first game Tuesday night.
Cameron Taborn netted nine points for Carrier Mills, while Dalton Summers added eight points. Darren Betz chipped in with six points and Gabe Motsinger had two points.
The bracket now sets up for Hardin County to play Crab Orchard Thursday at 6:30 p.m., followed by Galatia and Pope County at 8 p.m. in the consolation bracket.
The two losers of those games will play in the seventh place game Friday night at 5:30 p.m., with the championship game of the consolation bracket Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
On the winners side, Carrier Mills and NCOE will play Friday at 7 p.m., followed by Gallatin County and Thompsonville at 8:30 p.m.
The third place game will take place Saturday at 7 p.m., followed by the championship game at 8:30 p.m.
