Poor Boys liquor license suspended seven days

The liquor license for Poor Boys Lounge is suspended at 9 a.m. Monday, according to Harrisburg Mayor Eric Gregg.

Gregg said the license will be suspended for seven days.

The bar has been under scrutiny due to a history of violent events over the past few months, including the recent stabbing of Jason Teegarden.

Liquor license holder Sheila Harmon said at a hearing Tuesday she will do whatever is necessary to bring conditions at the bar up to the city’s standards. Gregg has suggested improved lighting and enhanced security would improve conditions.
