Glaydis Opal Green, 87, of Mt. Olive, Miss., formerly of Creal Springs died Friday Dec 28, 2012, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday Jan. 5, 2012, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to service time Saturday.
Burial will be in New Burnside Cemetery and the Rev. Bob Coburn will officiate.
She was born on Sept. 20, 1925, in Evansville, Ind., to the late Henry Cardual and John Frances (Blunk) Groves.
She was a retired Central Service Technician from the Los Angeles County Hospital and a member of the Harrisburg Church of Christ.
She is survived by three daughters, Glenda Deweese of Mt. Vernon, Irene Hall of Mt. Olive, Miss., and Frances Hook of Silver Springs, Nev.; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Marie Donnell; and brother, John Groves Sr.
