The Eldorado High School girls' basketball team had little problems with Gallatin County Thursday night, winning 55-17 at Duff-Kingston Gymnasium.
Kourtney Phillips and Taylor Goodley shared scoring honors as each put up 14 points in the Eagles' win.
Ashton Unthank scored seven points, while Erica Graczyk chipped in with six points. Lacy Jo Bradley came off the bench to finish with four points, while Dresdyn Bramlett tacked on three points. Paige Zertuche, Jacquelyn Artman and Brooklyn Peavler all scored two points. Abby Steed added a free throw.
EHS head coach Josh Bradley added it was another solid performance from everyone on his team, as the Eagles improved to 8-3 on the season.
"I thought tonight we really came out focused on what we had been working on in practice and it payed off for us,"Bradley said. "Goodley and Phillips came out in the first quarter looking to score.We were able to work on some things offensively tonight against a zone, and the kids attacked the zone and got some really good looks."
The Eldorado junior varsity club won 52-22, where Caitlyn Stafford scored 11 points to lead the Eagles. Bradley also finished in double figures, tacking on 10.
Steed and Artman added eight points, while Bramlett tacked on seven and Peavler chipped in with six. Duckworth tacked on two points.
"Tonight was probably the best overall team effort from the JV," Bradley said. "Good defensive and offensive effort."
