Girls Basketball: Eldorado whips Johnston City in BDC battle

Kourtney Phillips led three players in double figures, scoring 17 points as the Eldorado girls’ basketball team cruised to an easy 61-30 Black Diamond Conference win over Johnston City Saturday afternoon.

Ashton Unthank added another 15 points and Taylor Goodley scored 10 points for Josh Bradley’s ball club.

Eldorado led 20-7 after the end of the first quarter and continued the onslaught, leading 36-16 at halftime.

Erica Graczyk chipped in with six points from the post position, while Jacqulyn Artman, Paige Zertuche and Riley Duckworth all finished with four points. Lacy Jo Bradley had a free throw for Eldorado.
