  • Flora Louise Belt, known to everyone as Louise was the first born of the late James and Betty Weatherington Foster.
    She was born on Dec. 30, 1950, in Harrisburg, and departed this life Dec. 6, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky. Louise attended several different schools growing up, the last one being Cave-In-Rock High School. On May 10, 1969, she married Kenny Belt who went to be with Jesus Jan. 18, 2012. She and Kenny were married 43 years and made their home in Pankeyville for the last 29 years.
    Kenny and Louise were blessed with two wonderful sons, James Kenneth (Georgiann Fisk) Belt and Kevin Wayne (Melanie Starnes) Belt. They also claimed as their own two sweet nieces, Jennifer Casteel and Jenna Foster. Jenna has a sweet little daughter, Jessa Makenna. Kenny never saw baby Jessa, but Louise became Memaw to her and loved her so much.
    Louise began her career in retail in 1972 and continued thru 2012. The last 10 years working for Cheers Food and Fuel. This company became a lot more to her than a place to work, it was her second family and she loved Nathan, Brad and the entire group so much.
    She leaves to mourn her passing her two sons, two nieces and granddaughter along with four sisters, Marsha and Gary Edwards of Clarksville, Tenn., Doris and Bobby Owens, LaDonna and Charles Cissna and Rhonda and Johnny Horton, all of Harrisburg; brothers, Gary Foster and Ronnie Foster both of Harrisburg; and two half sisters, Kim Foster and Marcie King, both of Golconda. Many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many close friends. Louise will be missed by many.
    She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Kenny and a brother Larry Foster.
    Funeral services for Louise will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Miller officiating and burial in Colbert Cemetery.
