Joyce June Miller, 76, Eldorado, passed away 12:31 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
She was born on June 7, 1936, in Saline County, the daughter of Aultie Ray and Marjorie Mildred (Gibbs) Fritts. Joyce married Robert Dale Miller on July 6, 1955. She liked to crochet and loved her poodle, Maggie.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Robert Dale Miller of Eldorado; two daughters, Karen and Russell Douglas of Eldorado, Benita and Bill Lappin of Marion; three grandchildren, Zachary and Kim Douglas of Eldorado, Clayton Harrelson of Marion, Krystal and Jayson Clark of St. Louis, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Sidney Wheeler, Owen Clark, Hudson Clark and Soloman Douglas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Evenell Criss; two brothers, Bob and Joe Fritts.
Visitation for Joyce will be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Funeral services will be at the funeral home 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, with the Rev. Mike Weaver and the Rev. Gary Hardesty officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado.
