From 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. morning coffee and continental breakfast will be served and lunch is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. On the lunch menu is chicken casserole, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry relish, rolls and dessert all for $8. Carry outs are available by calling (618) 253-7023.
The event is the major fundraiser for the United Methodist Women which goes to support mission work. Annually, the event raises about $3,000 with strong support from all the women of the Methodist Church. “I think the women of the Methodist Church participate very well,” Barnhill said.
