Carl Delmer Hagan, 72, of Harrisburg, died 3:28 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, in the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
He was born on Feb. 11, 1940, in Saline County to the late Jessie Albert and Alma Isadora (Cash) Hagan.
He married the former Earlene Spangler on Jan. 23, 1960, and she survives.
He was an Army career veteran of 21 years and retired as a dispatcher for the City of Harrisburg. He was a member of the Harrisburg Masonic Lodge, Ainad Shrine and the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Earlene of Harrisburg; three daughters, Sheila A. Hagan of Rosiclare, Carla E. Hagan of Harrisburg and Alma J. Hagan of Harrisburg; two sons, William R. Hagan of Harrisburg and Albert E. Hagan of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Frances Hayes, Emily Hayes, Colohun Hagan, Andre Hagan and James Ewing; and a twin brother, Roy Elmer (Wilma) Hagan of Harrisburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, J.D. Hagan.
Per his request, cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date with burial of cremains in the Ingram Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills.
