Prep Football: Miller grabs First Team honors for Eldorado

Austin Miller was the lone Eldorado Eagle to be named to the Black Diamond Conference All-Conference Football Team, as a tackle on the First Team Offense.

The First Team Offense, led by Chester quarterback Jake Cowan, also included running backs Dyllan Bailey (Fairfield), Tyler Johnson (Johnston City) and Joel Clendenin (Chester).

Johnson was named the league's Most Valuable Player, while Bailey was named Offensive Captain.

Defensive Captain went to Chester's Whitey Roth, while Fairfield's Anthony Thomas took home the league's top punter award and Chester's Austin Redeker was the BDC's top kicker.

Chester's Caleb Arbeiter and S-V-W-W's James Watts were the two wide receivers named to the team.

Chester's Tyler Winch and Vienna's Andrew Trambley were the two centers named to the team, while Carmi-White County's Brandon Pollard and Justin Marks were named as guards.

Miller joined Chester's Jake Forgel as tackles, while Justin Kulick (S-V-W-W) was a First Team tight end selection.

On the Second Team Offense, Tristan Morse, another tackle, represented Eldorado. As did Dylan Roberts as running back, while Tyler Deaton and Derek Mitchell were named to the Second Team Defense.

Dakota Prather and Dustin McGuire were named to the Honorable Mention team.
