In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Harrisburg Medical Center and Alpha Home Health Care in Herrin are teaming up to present "Pretty All Over" 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
This free event, to be held at Harrisburg Medical Center Conference Room I, is designed to help breast cancer survivors become more familiar with recent innovations and options in post mastectomy, lumpectomy and reconstruction products and garments, according to a release from HMC.
Participants can stop by to view new styles of breast forms, post-lumpectomy/reconstruction shapers and balancers and nipples.
The newest styles and colors of garments including bras, camisoles, swimwear, post-surgical garments and accessory items will also be displayed.
Most items are covered by insurances including Medicare and Medicaid with a physician's order.
A certified mastectomy fitter will be on hand to assist with fitting or product questions. Door prizes and refreshments will be provided. For more information, please contact HMC at (618) 253-0369.
