  • Upperclassmen help lead Eagles to win over Vienna

  • The Eldorado High School volleyball team knocked off Vienna Wednesday in three sets, winning 25-23, falling 25-21 and then winning the third set 25-18.
    Caitlin Burnett was 69-for-69 on sets, while going 7-for-7 in spikes with nine points. Kourtney Phillips finished with 15 spikes, five kills, 23 digs and 15 points. Megan Lowe was 4-for-4 on sets, while going 19-of-23 on spikes with five kills and 13-for-14 on serves with 15 points, nine blocks and one kill.
    Olivia Brown was 2-for-2 on sets, with nine points and 20 digs. Corrina Steed went 2-for-2 on sets and 21-for-24 on spikes with four kills, six points and 18 digs. Christine Williams went 9-for-9 on serves with 11 points and 17 digs, while Elsie Talkington went 4-for-4 on sets, 6-for-7 on spikes with two kills, while going 3-for-4 on blocks with three kills.
    Sadie Steed was 3-for-3 on spikes with two kills, 3-for-3 on serves with three points. Abby Steed was 2-for-2 on spikes, five points and one block.
    The Eldorado junior varsity team also knocked off Vienna, winning in straight sets 25-23 and 25-22.
