Cynthia Jo Palmer 56, of Harrisburg passed away 3:10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Cynthia was born in Eldorado Sept. 10, 1956, to Robert and Ramona (Butler) Fort. She married Darrell Palmer on Sept. 15, 1978, and he survives. Cynthia was an active member of Harco Baptist Church.

She had six grandchildren who she loved tremendously, Kaily, Garrett and Wyatt Bebout, Ryan and Addyson Palmer and Braxton Palmer. She was a wonderful "Mimi," mother, mother-in-law, wife and friend anyone could ask for. She loved to cook, plant flowers, spend time with her kids and grandchildren. The love she and Darrell had for each other was amazing. They were always there for each other, always smiling and laughing. Definitely the definition of true love.
