For the second straight season, the Eldorado girls' golf team hoisted the Black Diamond Conference championship with a resounding 333, easily winning over the closest competition Carmi, who finished with a team score of 378.
Trico finished third in the BDC girls' championship with a 394, followed by Vienna (397), Chester (431) and Goreville (436).
The Eagles got some great play from Ashton Goodley shooting a 1 over 72, and Taylor Goodley shooting a 2 over 73, which helped the ladies separate from from the other teams. Taylor Aldridge shot a 93 and Sam Mings carded a 95 to round out top four scoring for Eldorado.
Ashton Unthank came in with a 97 and Charly Lowery shot a102. After being out of the line up for the past 2 weeks Ashton Goodley put together a solid round carding three birdies in a row during her round, and Taylor Goodley stayed right with her until a bogey on No. 17 put her a stroke behind. Taylor Aldridge and Sam Mings were able to put together good rounds, for our best team score for 18 holes this season.
On the boys' side, Dillion Street finished fifth overall and Zane Stanley tied for eighth as both made All-Conference and helped Eldorado to a seventh place finish at last week's Black Diamond Conference boys' tournament.
Hamilton County won the outright title with a 304, followed by Carmi (320), Johnston City (328), Fairfield (337), Trico (344), Vienna (348) and Eldorado with a 352.
Street shot a 79, while Stanley carded an 81. Richard Graceffa shot a 91 and Clay Boulds carded a 101. Hunter Mace finished with a 122.
