William "Bill" Nalley, 75, of McLeansboro, died 4:15 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at his home.
Mr. Nalley was born Feb. 27, 1937, in McLeansboro, the son of George Nalley and Ruby (Cox) Nalley. He married the former Betty Kinsall Aug. 7, 1959, and she survives.
Bill was a retired plumber and had owned Nalley's Plumbing in McLeansboro. He was a member of the Ten Mile Baptist Church in McLeansboro and loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering in his workshop. Bill will be sadly missed by his family members and friends.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Betty Nalley of McLeansboro; two daughters, Karen (Tony) Auxier of Maumelle, Ark., Kim Heinz of Maryville; four grandchildren, Jonathon Auxier of Hollywood, Calif., David Auxier of Macomb, Sarah Auxier of Benton and Brian Heinz of Carbondale; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Nalley was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at the Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday. Oct. 2, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. John Smith, the Rev. Jake Gray, and the Rev. Gary Nalley officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in McLeansboro.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
