Man accused East St. Louis shooting death
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Authorities say they believe they've cracked the case of a nearly four-month-old southwestern Illinois shooting death.
Prosecutors in St. Clair County on Tuesday charged 23-year-old Marlon Jackson of Washington Park with one count of first-degree murder.
Investigators allege that Jackson shot Darrell Wilbourn last Sept. 24 near a public housing complex in East St. Louis.
Jackson remains jailed in Belleville on $1 million bond.
Online court records do not show whether he has an attorney. Jackson does not have a listed home telephone number.
