4C's 5K run and walk set for Saturday
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Christian Community Compassion Center will host its third annual 5k walk/run at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 25 starting at the Harrisburg Middle School.
Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m.
Funds raised through this even will help support the 4C's homeless shelter, food pantry and Helping Hands. The volume of need has increased this year, so support of the 4C's activities is more important than ever, according to a news release from the organization.
The pre-registration fee is $15; the race day registration fee is $18. There is no age limit or "time to finish" to participate, according to the news release.
The Kids Fun Run will take place after the 5K and has an entry fee of $5.
T-shirts and drawings will be part of the registration package.
