Iris Fay Rhine

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Iris Fay Rhine, 88, 1135 Double Bridge Road, Eldorado, died 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Evansville, Ind.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Walter Baker officiating. Burial will be in Rhine Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.

She was born on March 26, 1922, in Akron, Ohio to Delmar and Leona Belle (Gilbert) Harlow. She married R.L. Rhine, who preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1998.

She was a homemaker, a member of First Presbyterian Church of Eldorado and a member of Saline County Home Extension.

She is survived by two sons, John E. Rhine of Mt. Carmel and Richard Lane Rhine of Eldorado; a daughter, Brenda Joy Shell of Eldorado; two brothers, Robert Harlow of Hamp, Texas and Ray Harlow of Harrisburg; three sisters, Donna Jean Drobeck of Colorado Springs, Colo., Marion Bush of Evansville, Ind. and Gertrude Little of New River, Ariz.; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven great-stepgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Harlow; and a sister, Margie Sanders.
