Shriners selling Vidalia onions
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Area Shriners clubs are out selling Vidalia onions, the annual fundraiser for the clubs.
Paul Oxford of Rudement was selling the onions at Mitchellsville General Store for the Delta Shrine in Rosiclare and said the Egyptian Shrine members are selling in front of Dollar General on Commercial Street until they are sold out.
Oxford began with 45 bags of onions Monday and by early Tuesday afternoon had sold all but eight bags. The onions are $10 for 10 pounds.
Among the Shriner's charities is paying transportation costs to and from hospital visits for children.
