- West End Landfill takes storm debris

- West End Landfill has been granted a provisional variance by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency allowing it to accept all types of storm debris -- including trees and computer parts -- with the exception of hazardous materials. Some construction material has arrived. A flood of it will arriving in the coming weeks.
